What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow DevOps, Infrastructure, and Release Engineering teams across geographies with focus on 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and career development.
• Own release engineering strategy including CI/CD pipelines supporting trunk-based development, automated testing, progressive delivery, and DORA metrics improvement.
• Provide technical leadership across AWS, Azure, GCP with Infrastructure as Code, security best practices, and observability integration.
• Establish production readiness standards, incident response processes, blameless postmortems, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, QE, Security, and Operations.
• Drive operational excellence by reducing toil, deployment risks, and ensuring high availability and compliance.

Requirements

• Remote US – must be eligible to work in the US.
• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure; 5+ years managing engineering managers or senior technical teams.
• Hands-on experience building/operating CI/CD for SaaS, release engineering, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong AWS experience (Azure/GCP plus); containers (Docker, Kubernetes), observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Track record improving reliability, deployment safety; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
