Senior Manager, Engineering (DevOps, Infrastructure, and Release Engineering)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, and develop DevOps, Infrastructure, and Release Engineering teams across geographies.
• Own the release engineering strategy and end-to-end release lifecycle for a SaaS platform.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with automated testing gates, feature flags, canary releases, and blue-green deployments.
• Provide technical leadership across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including Infrastructure as Code and secure-by-default delivery.
• Establish production readiness standards, release go/no-go criteria, incident response processes, and on-call readiness.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Quality Engineering, Security, Operations, and executive stakeholders to reduce release friction and deployment risk.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• At least 5 years managing engineering managers and/or senior technical teams.
• Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines for SaaS platforms.
• Strong AWS experience, with additional experience in Azure and GCP.
• Deep knowledge of release engineering, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and SRE practices.
• Experience with high-availability distributed systems, operational maturity, and tools including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Experience using automation and code-generation efficiency trends to modernize DevOps and CloudOps.
