Program Manager, Managed Services - CampusGuard (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Assess customer compliance postures and design scalable programs aligned with organizational size, structure, budget, and risk tolerance.
• Create governance structures, policies, roles and responsibilities, escalation paths, compliance calendars, inventories, scope definitions, and data-flow documentation.
• Lead PCI DSS, GLBA, and related compliance initiatives using predictive and adaptive program management methods.
• Manage schedules, work breakdown structures, RACI matrices, risk and issue logs, evidence collection, assessments, scans, remediation, and annual compliance lifecycles.
• Train customer staff and create playbooks, runbooks, checklists, and templates that support independent program operation.
• Support virtual Information Security Officer engagements, risk assessments, vendor risk reviews, incident response planning, and tabletop exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in program or project management, IT compliance, information security, or IT governance.
• End-to-end ownership of a compliance or information security program, including executive-level stakeholder management.
• Working knowledge of at least one major compliance framework, such as PCI DSS or GLBA, and the ability to build expertise in others.
• Ability to drive accountability without direct authority, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and manage multiple concurrent customer engagements.
• Proficiency with project management and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft 365; a background check is required.

Nice to have

• Direct higher education compliance or information security experience.
• Experience building compliance or security programs from the ground up.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, PCIP, or similar certifications.
• Consulting or professional services experience managing a customer portfolio.
• Familiarity with higher education technology platforms or GRC tools such as Banner, Workday, Ellucian, Archer, or ServiceNow.
