Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Assess customer compliance posture and design scalable, right-sized security programs.
• Lead the planning and execution of PCI DSS, GLBA, and related compliance initiatives using hybrid methodologies.
• Develop foundational artifacts including charters, governance structures, and compliance calendars.
• Train and coach customer staff to operate compliance programs independently.
• Support senior advisors in delivering virtual Information Security Officer (vISO) services.
• Partner with internal security engineers and assessors to ensure high-quality, consistent deliverables.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management, IT compliance, or information security.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a compliance or security program.
• Working knowledge of at least one major compliance framework (e.g., PCI DSS, GLBA).
• Ability to obtain PCIP and PMP certifications within 12 months of hire.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools.

Nice to have

• Direct experience running compliance or security programs in higher education.
• Experience building programs from the ground up.
• Additional certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, or CRISC.
• Prior consulting experience managing a portfolio of customers.
