What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year product strategy and vision for the Insurance Products platform, including rating/pricing, coverages, deductibles, discounts, and eligibility logic.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the platform: discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, and post-launch monitoring.
• Lead large cross-functional initiatives, partnering with Insurance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Engineering to deliver regulatory and compliance changes with risk mitigation and auditability.
• Translate insights into PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship high-quality platform solutions.
• Drive measurable outcomes by defining KPIs, instrumenting product changes, analyzing impact, and iterating based on results.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders as the bridge to Engineering, establishing an operating cadence for prioritization, launch readiness, and performance tracking.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience with full ownership of the product backlog and leading the end-to-end software development lifecycle with a team of at least four engineers.
• Proven experience owning/building platform-level products such as rules engines, pricing/rating engines, or configuration systems, including safe evolution at scale.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact, user-focused products.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business, technical, and executive audiences.
• Data-driven decision making: define success metrics, analyze results, and iterate with discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for articulating strategy, goals, and roadmaps to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Product management experience in insurance, financial services, or an adjacent industry.
• Experience with customer engagement platforms (e.g., Customer.io, Braze).
• Experience with AI or automation tooling applied to configuration, pricing, or rules-based systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
