Senior Software Engineer, Developer Platform (Go)

Location: United States - Remote

Base salary: $157,000–$184,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build and improve the internal Developer Platform Factory, including CI/CD, shared build infrastructure, and change-validation workflows.
• Improve the speed, reliability, and developer experience of the monorepo CI/CD pipeline.
• Productionize the Agentic AI platform through observability, RAG, and context-engineering patterns.
• Consolidate fragmented build systems and create standardized paved-road blueprints for product delivery.
• Identify developer toil, codify reusable patterns, and automate repetitive manual work.
• Participate in design and code reviews while contributing to engineering velocity and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Go or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, container orchestration, and tooling for large monorepos across build, test, and release.
• Ability to apply AI-driven development practices, including LLM-based automation and context engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on automating repetitive engineering tasks.
• Self-directed approach, comfort with ambiguity, and focus on data-driven improvements to product delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or comparable systems.
• Experience with DORA or SPACE metrics and related instrumentation.
• Experience operating a large Go monorepo and its tooling.
• Familiarity with supply chain security, OCI, Kubernetes, or open-source communities.
• Experience running stakeholder feedback loops with engineering teams.
