GRC Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and operate data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset signals from across the company.
• Translate security and compliance standards into versioned, testable policy-as-code.
• Design agentic AI workflows that combine LLM reasoning with deterministic decision layers for control monitoring.
• Develop evaluation harnesses and benchmarks to ensure the reliability of automated governance systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and automate manual governance processes.
• Contribute to the technical design and security architecture of the governance platform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend, platform, data, or security engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs (prompting, agents, or tool use).
• Experience with integration patterns including REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong background in data normalization and handling complex, imperfect data sources.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as this role is tied to U.S. salary zones.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of security frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
• Experience with production-scale LLM or agentic systems.
