Senior Software Engineer - Platform (Rust, AI)

Location: Remote USA; US Citizenship or Greencard required

Salary: $170,000–$230,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and develop foundational components and frameworks for an Agentic AI platform.
• Build platform solutions that support multiple products and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to develop infrastructure for enterprise ML workflows.
• Study and apply current design patterns, techniques, and technologies for platform and framework development.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and address performance, scalability, and reliability challenges.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Greencard required due to US Government contract requirements.
• 5–8+ years of software and platform engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Rust and high-performance systems; performance-critical areas are developed in Rust.
• Experience building platform infrastructure and backend systems for multiple products and engineering teams.
• Expertise in database architecture, distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling, schema design, and high-throughput, low-latency data access.
• Experience designing systems for AI and machine learning workloads, plus familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.

Nice to have

• Startup experience or comfort working in 0→1 product environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
