Senior Rust Developer / Senior Software Engineer - Platform (AI)

Location: Remote USA; US Citizenship or Greencard required due to US Government contract requirements.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design and develop foundational components and frameworks for an Agentic AI platform.
• Create platform infrastructure that enables multiple engineering teams to build applications.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to support enterprise ML workflows.
• Develop high-performance, performance-critical systems in Rust.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Study and apply modern design patterns, techniques, and platform technologies.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Greencard required.
• 5–8+ years of software and platform engineering experience.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems and backend infrastructure serving multiple products.
• Strong Rust experience, including the design and development of high-performance systems.
• Expertise in database architecture, distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling, schema design, and high-throughput, low-latency data access.
• Experience designing systems for AI and machine learning workloads, with familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, or AI orchestration frameworks.

Nice to have

• Start-up experience or experience in 0→1 product environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
