Salary: $35.00 - $42.08 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV solar modules, arrays, inverters, and BESS containers.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex electrical issues in AC/DC systems of varying voltages.
• Coordinate with site teams and engineers across North America to optimize facility performance and equipment availability.
• Manage third-party contractors, develop work scopes, and oversee vendor onboarding.
• Maintain high-quality O&M documentation including service tickets, switching orders, and safety permits (LOTO).
• Support the construction and commissioning of new facilities to ensure a high-quality build and smooth transition to O&M.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a solar PV technician or 5+ years in a utility-scale power plant.
• Must be based onsite in Hawaii (Waikoloa) and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
• Valid NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 certifications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical measurements, control circuits, and electrical theory.
• English: C1+ (excellent written and verbal communication skills).

• Technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualification in an appropriate electrical trade.
