What you will do

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on distributed and utility-scale solar and battery storage (BESS) facilities.
• Coordinate and manage contractors engaged to support maintenance activities.
• Support commissioning activities and lead warranty claims processes with vendors.
• Execute technical and administrative duties associated with power facility operations.
• Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.

Requirements

• Based on Kauai, USA with willingness to perform regular inter-island travel.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PV O&M solar technician or 3+ years of experience in a power plant.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals, including control circuits and electrical theory.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to work at heights and in varying ambient temperatures and humidity.
• Technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualifications are a plus.
