What you will do

• Execute O&M activities for utility-scale solar PV sites and substations.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on inverters, trackers, and electrical equipment.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders for safe operations.
• Ensure all work complies with environmental and safety regulations.
• Work independently or within field crews to maintain power facility performance.
• Document technical data and administrative reports related to site operations.

Requirements

• Must be able to commute daily to the site in Albion, Michigan.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a PV O&M solar technician.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a power plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals, including control circuits and solid-state theory.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions, at heights, and around energized equipment.
• Proficiency in standard business software and technical documentation.
