What you will do

• Perform data conversions for new customer implementations and handle data-related tasks for existing clients.
• Work directly with customers to address conversion requirements and issues according to project schedules.
• Develop data mapping documentation and provide estimates for conversion projects.
• Create efficient and reusable data conversion scripts.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of software data structures to ensure quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Support Analysts to deploy tested conversions into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent job experience.
• Expert or advanced skills in MS-SQL, including the ability to perform complex queries and write scripts.
• Experience with Local Government applications or similar industry software.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve data issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for direct customer interaction.
• Must be based in British Columbia, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) or equivalent.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
