Team Manager Data Warehouse

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule in Canada. The role is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then moves to 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 135,000–170,000 total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage a team of data warehouse software developers responsible for data warehouse and data engineering applications.
• Develop annual data warehouse plans with business partners and oversee project execution.
• Lead technical strategy, standards, automation, application support, and platform issue escalation.
• Analyze business requirements and plan, design, and implement moderate to highly complex technology-enabled solutions.
• Manage departmental budgets, capacity planning, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
• Coach, mentor, evaluate, and support the professional development of software developers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technology experience, preferably in financial services.
• Four-year degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing, leading, and mentoring software developers.
• Experience with Informatica IICS, Snowflake, Oracle, AWS, data warehousing, and data engineering.
• Knowledge of agile, waterfall, and software development practices, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

• Experience in system architecture and design.
• Experience with data science practices and programming languages.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI.
