Senior Quality Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; 100% onsite in a cleanroom environment

Salary: $102,375–$153,563 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve quality problems and introduce improved quality approaches.
• Manage inspections, audits, assessments, and process adherence.
• Analyze quality data using advanced statistical techniques and generate actionable recommendations.
• Develop and document complex quality processes and performance reports.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions that prevent recurring quality deviations.
• Engage with customers to understand quality needs and align expectations with standards and processes.

Requirements

• At least seven years of experience in relevant quality engineering or related areas.
• Master’s degree in electrical, manufacturing, industrial, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, or a bachelor’s degree with deep relevant experience.
• Experience in supplier or manufacturing quality, Lean, Six Sigma problem solving, ISO auditing, or statistical process control.
• Expertise in problem solving, quality control and assurance, data analysis, risk management, and audits.
• Ability to work onsite 100% of working hours in a cleanroom while wearing protective gear throughout the shift.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export regulations before starting work.
