What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims by analyzing policy provisions and loss facts.
• Confirm coverage and communicate coverage positions through formal independent letters.
• Manage claims reserves and utilize diary systems to ensure proactive resolution and timely closure.
• Negotiate settlements directly with claimants to achieve cost-effective results.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and potential fraud for appropriate referral.
• Provide high-quality service to both internal and external customers throughout the claim life cycle.

Requirements

• Must have or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Minimum of two years of claims handling experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have valid US Work Authorization; no visa sponsorship is provided now or in the future.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Completion of basic insurance courses or achievement of industry designations (e.g., INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, CPCU).
