What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year Finance data strategy and transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Own the Finance data product portfolio, including datasets, semantic models, business metrics, and analytical assets.
• Establish and lead the Finance data governance framework, stewardship model, and operating procedures.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Operations leaders to align enterprise data initiatives.
• Ensure data practices support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams responsible for data strategy and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Finance data management, transformation, or data strategy.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale data governance or platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, MDM, metadata management, and financial reporting.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MBA, CPA, or CFA.
• Experience in highly regulated industries like banking, retirement, or insurance.
• Experience with SAP ERP (S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere) or cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency with enterprise reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
