What you will do

• Design and govern automated compliance monitoring and detective controls to produce audit-ready evidence.
• Act as the primary data owner for regulatory examinations, licensing audits, and bank partner requests.
• Triage monitoring exceptions to distinguish true compliance gaps from data artifacts.
• Develop an automation roadmap for recurring reporting using AI-assisted development tools.
• Steward the compliance data environment, maintaining query repositories and methodology documentation.
• Provide technical direction, training, and quality review for a supporting data analyst.

Requirements

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring, or audit within fintech or regulated banking.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Deep working knowledge of consumer credit regulations (TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, EFTA/Reg E, FCRA, etc.).
• Ability to produce evidence-grade, reproducible data for regulators and auditors.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools for query building and automation.

Nice to have

• Python and lightweight application development experience (e.g., Streamlit).
• Exposure to GRC platforms like AuditBoard.
• Familiarity with bank partnership or sponsor bank operating models.
• Experience expanding monitoring coverage across Canada or the UK.
