Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote-eligible, or hybrid in San Jose, CA or Draper, UT)

Salary: $142,300 – $200,700 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of high-leverage data products, including dashboards, semantic layers, and data marts.
• Architect scalable and reliable data models and pipelines to serve as the organization's source of truth.
• Define and enforce technical standards for AI governance, data quality, and metrics definitions.
• Translate complex business problems into rigorous metrics frameworks and experimentation plans for executives.
• Mentor analysts and engineers across teams to raise the technical bar through code and design reviews.
• Evaluate and apply AI/LLM-based tooling to accelerate data analysis and self-serve consumption.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data engineering with a track record of owning large-scope initiatives.
• Expert-level SQL skills, including query optimization at scale and advanced modeling approaches.
• Deep expertise in dimensional and incremental data modeling, partitioning, and bucketing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Exceptional stakeholder communication skills to turn technical tradeoffs into compelling narratives for senior leaders.

Nice to have

• Working proficiency in Python for data manipulation, pipeline logic, and automation.
• Experience shaping organizational data or BI standards, such as KPI certification or enterprise metric frameworks.
