What you will do

• Direct daily production manufacturing operations to ensure orders meet established targets.
• Manage staffing requirements, coordinate with recruitment agencies, and monitor daily productivity.
• Provide consistent training, coaching, and feedback to team members to ensure operational success.
• Identify and propose process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain department machinery and collaborate with maintenance teams for optimal performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing operations environment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience specifically within the optical space.
• Must be available to work on-site in Obetz, Ohio, including occasional overtime and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for 8 or more hours per day.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and optical management software.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial machinery.
