What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and order forms for autonomous driving and robotics companies.
• Collaborate with leadership to define the business and legal strategy for the Physical AI unit.
• Handle a wide range of agreements, including partnership, reseller, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
• Assess legal risk and provide practical guidance to help the business make informed decisions.
• Provide hands-on legal support to sales, product, and other cross-functional teams.
• Design and iterate on policies and processes to manage legal and business risk on a global scale.

Requirements

• JD and membership of the California Bar in good standing.
• 9+ years of law firm and in-house experience in commercial agreements, data licensing, and intellectual property.
• Proven experience negotiating complex technology, services, or data licensing agreements.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for business and technical audiences.
• Deep interest in artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and robotics.

Nice to have

• Experience with legal issues specific to autonomous vehicles or robotics.
• Product or privacy counseling experience.
