What you will do

• Build and lead the Bank accounting team, overseeing recruitment, coaching, and strategic direction.
• Manage daily operational duties, including G/L management and integration of accounting systems.
• Oversee monthly reporting to internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure timely submission.
• Establish a controlled regulatory reporting function for FFIEC Call Reports and Federal Reserve reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors to complete annual Bank financial statement audits.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to implement tools for accounting and reporting automation.

Requirements

• Accounting designation such as CPA or CA.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or Treasury.
• Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting.
• Proven experience in cash management, modeling, and scaling accounting teams in similar industries.
• Must be based in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
