What you will do
- Lead and support the execution of Advanced Technical Work (ATW) projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop control methods and embedded controller software code.
- Create calibrations for ATW projects to validate system capabilities.
- Verify software and control methods using SIL/HIL test benches, engine start carts, or development vehicles.
- Perform emission testing on dynamometers or vehicles to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in electrical, mechanical, or software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in propulsion system controls, software, or calibration.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engine control: startability, fuel control, and emission reduction.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as INCA, Indicom, Concerto, and Vehicle Spy.
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with leadership.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree in a relevant engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in tailpipe emissions calibration.
- Experience with C coding for embedded software and tools like Git/Gerrit.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping platforms (ETAS, d-SPACE) and SDV electrical architecture.
- Familiarity with simulation tools: GT Power Suite, Amesim, or GMSIM.
