TL;DR
IT Business Analyst (Financial Markets): Analyzing and specifying business, IT, and data requirements for IPA SDM and TradeStore components supporting pricing, risk management, and reporting with an accent on static data, trade data, and financial markets products. Focus on defining data quality rules, testing delivered software, translating requirements into user stories, and coordinating delivery across international Agile teams.
Location: Bucharest, Dacia One, Romania; hybrid work combining home and office

What you will do
- Act as the link between SDM business or IT stakeholders and the development team.
- Analyze and specify business, IT, product, and data requirements as user stories or functional specifications with acceptance criteria.
- Support the Product Owner with work-stream deliverables, timelines, and status updates.
- Define data quality rules and measurement approaches for static and trade data.
- Test software against requirements, support automated regression testing, and investigate business-flow defects.
- Present delivered stories, facilitate knowledge sharing, improve delivery processes, and maintain documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Markets and/or Treasury.
- Experience with static data management and financial markets products.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with Python/Pandas and Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, requirements refinement, and translating user needs into actionable specifications.
- Strong analytical, literacy, communication, and detail-oriented skills; ability to work with challenging deadlines and cross-border teams.
- Excellent English and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Computer Science.
Nice to have
- Experience in risk management or financial markets regulations.
- Familiarity with BABOK, CBAP certification, or diagramming tools such as MS Visio and Draw.io.
