Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote from the European Union region; Bulgaria and Romania listed as locations. A valid work permit is required.

What you will do

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into high-level and technical User Stories with acceptance criteria.
• Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and collaboration with Product Owners and development teams.
• Coordinate alignment across multiple teams working on distributed systems, migrations, and platform transformations.
• Analyze data models and relational database structures and contribute to scalable solution design.
• Support requirements validation, UAT, and documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT initiatives.
• Strong SQL, relational database, and data modeling knowledge.
• Experience with distributed systems, platform-based architectures, web-based system development, migrations, and integrations.
• Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Experience writing business and technical User Stories and working with Agile, Scrum-based delivery models.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, ownership, teamwork, and risk management skills.

Nice to have

• Structured use of GenAI in the software development lifecycle, including workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations.
• Familiarity with agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
• Knowledge of the leasing or railway domain.
• Experience with SAP systems.
