What you will do

• Identify and maintain a network of community-based organizations, realtors, and local agencies to generate mortgage referrals.
• Focus on CRA, low-and moderate-income, multicultural, and first-time homebuyer customer segments.
• Guide customers through the mortgage application process, explaining products, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure applications are accurate, complete, and supported by required documentation for underwriting.
• Represent the bank at community meetings, housing seminars, and financial literacy programs.
• Communicate underwriting decisions and coordinate with processors, underwriters, and closing agents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive work experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in mortgage lending.
• Must maintain active registration status with NMLS.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage industry products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrated sales ability and established network of community-based contacts.
• Must be eligible for employment under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act.
