Life Financial Crime Advisory Manager

What you will do

• Provide independent second-line review, challenge, and oversight of M&G Life’s financial crime risk management framework.
• Review the consolidated Life Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment and track remediation actions.
• Oversee first-line controls covering outsourcing arrangements, third-party administrators, and intermediary reliance arrangements.
• Establish a second-line fraud prevention framework and advise first-line teams on financial crime standards.
• Manage exceptions to global financial crime standards and support risk decisions under the financial crime risk appetite and decisioning matrix.
• Prepare regulatory, board, and committee reporting and oversee issue management and audit-related actions.

Requirements

• Established financial crime experience within financial services in a second-line-of-defence role.
• Deep understanding of financial crime risks and UK financial crime laws and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and explain independent risk decisions.
• Experience managing oversight, review, challenge, and remediation activities across first-line teams.
• Work location: Stirling, United Kingdom.

• Experience in the life insurance and pensions sector.
• Experience with financial crime regulatory requirements outside the UK.
