What you will do

• Architect, design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and highly reliable code across the full stack.
• Own complex features end to end—from spec through delivery, alerting, and monitoring—with quality and security built in.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, technical specifications, and success metrics.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security by identifying bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, reliable releases.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with a bias toward action.

Requirements

• Location/eligibility: Hybrid in Los Angeles / San Francisco / New York (Tuesday–Thursday in office), or be eligible for remote work in the US / Canada (no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance).
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack development across frontend and backend.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with messaging queues (e.g., AWS SQS) and MongoDB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• React and other frontend frameworks.
• Python (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
• Airflow, PostgreSQL, NestJS.
• Native desktop development (e.g., .NET on Windows) and/or mobile app development.
• Experience working with ML teams.
