What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable full-stack solutions for the customer platform.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers on best practices and design patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and medical to build innovative features.
• Implement observability practices to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive optimization efforts across the platform.
• Participate in product discovery to validate ideas and define features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer shipping production code.
• 3+ years of experience with backend distributed system design and microservice architectures.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proven experience building scalable systems that support other engineering teams.
• Experience with agile development, CI/CD, and testing practices.
• Ability to prioritize across ambiguous, cross-team priorities without management oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with NextJS and NestJS.
• Experience building developer frameworks or tools.
• Web performance optimization experience.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, and DevOps practices.
