Salary: $141,000–$198,000 CAD

What you will do

• Implement and extend product features for consumer-facing claim experiences.
• Build reusable frontend platform components for internal products and ecommerce storefronts.
• Translate Figma designs into accessible, high-performance UI components.
• Contribute to backend services using Golang and Node.js.
• Manage infrastructure and deployments on Google Cloud Platform.
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and uphold architecture standards.

Requirements

• Must be located in Canada.
• 6+ years of experience building scalable, high-quality systems.
• Experience with AI-first development workflows (e.g., using Claude for orchestration and code generation).
• Proficiency in React and at least one backend language like Node.js or Golang.
• Experience consuming APIs from microservice-based systems.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and the full development lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Previous startup experience with a growth mindset.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with datastores like PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Bigtable.
