Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States; Hawaii is excluded

Salary: $150,000–$224,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend code supporting features used by 5 million users.
• Develop backend services in TypeScript and contribute to fullstack applications.
• Build products and user-focused interfaces with React and React Native in partnership with product and design teams.
• Support marketing technology platforms, integrations, personalized messaging, campaign execution, and lifecycle marketing.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership on the team’s direction.
• Improve the marketing website’s performance, discoverability, and search engine optimization, including AI-driven SEO strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience and training.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience building fullstack applications.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and experience with a general-purpose programming language such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go.
• Experience with a modern UI framework and the ability to discuss system architecture and component design.
• Experience with monitoring and metric tools and Agile development environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and constructive feedback skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.
• Experience building production mobile applications with React Native.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
