Systems Engineer (SD-WAN)

What you will do

• Provide advanced technical support to sales teams and channel partners to drive SD-WAN and campus solution adoption.
• Architect and design comprehensive network solutions utilizing VeloCloud SD-WAN and Arista’s full-stack security portfolio.
• Lead technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals, including creating design documents and bills of materials.
• Perform Proof of Concept (PoC) testing to validate customer setups and technical requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to prospects, customers, and partners.
• Partner with engineering and technical support teams to resolve customer escalations and provide feedback on product features.

Requirements

• Must be based in FL or GA.
• BS/CS/CE technical degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of pre-sales experience in data centers, campus, WAN, or Cloud services.
• Expert knowledge in at least three of the following: Ethernet/LAN switching, IPSec, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS, and SD-WAN.
• Experience supporting sales personnel with technical demonstrations and pre-sales cycles.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and enabling routing functionality in VPCs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automation tools including REST API, Python, and Ansible.
• Experience with Arista EOS and CloudVision.
• Relevant network industry certifications.
