Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: Tues-Thurs in-office)

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, forwarders, and distribution centers.
• Lead the annual RFP process for drayage and transload services in collaboration with Indirect Sourcing.
• Oversee the integration of external systems with SAP and the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Deliver weekly and monthly performance updates across various organizational levels.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve service levels and reduce transportation costs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drayage operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation operations.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in a people leadership role.
• Strong understanding of drayage and transload services.
• Proven track record with RFP bid processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask across multiple transportation modes.

• Experience managing drayage carriers.
• Experience with MercuryGate and InforNexus.
