Driver Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Plan and execute transportation orders to maximize fleet capacity, equipment utilization, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with agents and van operators to optimize load planning and routing.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics, including utilization and on-time pickup and delivery.
• Manage driver compensation, reviewing weekly statements and resolving payment discrepancies with Payroll.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and qualification of independent contractors and their equipment.
• Ensure strict compliance with hirify.global policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or dispatch.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Legal authorization to work in the US on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Experience working with independent contractors or owner-operators.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation industry regulations.
• Experience with transportation management (TMS) or fleet management systems.
• Experience analyzing operational performance metrics.
