What you will do

• Coordinate programme development and provide operational support for hirify.global projects and activities in Tonga.
• Implement field projects and contribute to the development of the Field Programme by identifying and formulating new projects.
• Liaise with government authorities, local, national, and international institutions, donors, and other UN agencies.
• Represent hirify.global at interagency meetings when required.
• Lead the Programme Unit and oversee programme and project implementation to achieve targeted outcomes.

Requirements

• National of Tonga, the country of assignment.
• First-level university degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, forestry, fisheries, natural resources, rural development, business administration and management, international relations, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in programme or project development and management.
• Ability to apply knowledge of local conditions, culture, language, and institutions.
