What you will do

• Perform structural engineering analysis, design, and evaluation for a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Complete lateral analysis and design for wind and seismic forces in compliance with applicable building codes.
• Own assigned structural scopes, managing schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality requirements.
• Check calculations, review engineering work, and coordinate design documents and models with drafting, architectural, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, drafters, and designers.
• Contribute to improving structural engineering workflows, systems, and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering design.
• Experience with US building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC.
• Proficiency with structural engineering analysis software, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
• Experience designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or a dedicated MS in Structural Engineering.
• Experience designing industrial, manufacturing, or complex commercial facilities.
• Experience leading small project teams or coordinating discipline workflows.
