Finance Systems Manager (D365)

TL;DR

Finance Systems Manager (D365): Owning the integration, optimization and day-to-day management of financial tools and applications with an accent on D365 Finance & Operations, system configuration, and automation. Focus on translating financial requirements into technical solutions, improving process scalability, and ensuring governance across all finance systems.

Location: Hybrid (London) - minimum of three days a week in the office

What you will do

• Manage third-party finance applications including Concur, Medius, HighRadius, and Power BI.
• Own the setup of system rules and configurations to ensure accuracy and stability.
• Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, and operational teams to initiate and deliver larger projects.
• Lead the configuration and setup of new trading and non-trading entities within finance systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and process maps for audit readiness.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve the efficiency and scalability of finance processes.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Tier 1 ERP platforms, specifically D365 Finance & Operations.
• Proven experience in system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in core finance processes, including GL, AP, AR, and entity structures.
• Ability to use BI and analytics tools to communicate data value to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for root cause identification and a commitment to data integrity.
• Must be based in or able to commute to London to meet the hybrid work requirement.
