New Business Outreach Specialist (Partnerships)

TL;DR

New Business Outreach Specialist (Partnerships): Building and converting a pipeline of new retail partners with an accent on outbound acquisition and commercial negotiation. Focus on identifying targets, leading multi-channel outreach, and closing deals to deliver value for BLC members.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to commute to the HQ in Leicestershire or the London (Holborn) office. Fully remote working is not available.

What you will do

• Own and manage the new business pipeline, using conversion data to prioritize opportunities.
• Lead outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to engage prospective retail partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms and offer strength to secure high-value deals for members.
• Close deals efficiently and manage the onboarding process through to go-live.
• Manage new partner accounts for the first six months to support initial growth.
• Collaborate with Category Leads and B2B managers to share outreach insights.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outbound new business sales with a track record of cold outreach.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals at pace.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Target-focused, self-starting approach to pipeline management.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B sales, retail partnerships, or affiliate/performance marketing.
• Familiarity with CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
