Senior Security Engineer, Enterprise Security

Location: Toronto, Canada

Salary: CA$133,000–CA$209,000 per year at the start of employment; expected OTE of CA$148,000–CA$232,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, manage, and document enterprise security infrastructure protecting users, employees, assets, and work locations.
• Investigate malware, advanced threats, security events, and vulnerabilities across endpoints, networks, SaaS applications, and cloud environments.
• Expand SIEM capabilities by configuring detections, improving alerting, developing reports, and prioritizing data ingestion.
• Secure SaaS applications and internal configurations, enforce security policies, and review business partner technologies and system deployments.
• Develop automation for detection, reporting, compliance, policy enforcement, and security operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations, respond to critical incidents and escalations, collaborate with Security and Engineering teams, and mentor junior associates.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Security Engineering experience focused on enterprise, network, or endpoint security.
• 3+ years in a corporate security organization with hands-on, technical, user-facing implementation experience.
• Experience with enterprise networking, security architecture, SaaS applications, email security, Mac endpoints, IAM, CrowdStrike EDR, and forensics.
• Ability to conduct end-to-end SaaS security reviews covering data flows, architecture, authentication, authorization, and contractual security requirements.
• Experience designing and tuning forensic programs across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments, including incident triage and data classification.
• Strong communication, organizational, independent-working, and technical leadership skills.
