HR Consulting Director (HR Transformation): Designing modern HR Operating Models and leading complex people-focused transformations with an accent on HR due diligence, post-deal integration, and organizational design. Location: Hybrid (Charlotte, NC or Washington, DC). Requires in-person attendance at least three days per week.

Salary: $197,800 – $255,904

What you will do

• Design future-state HR operating models and service delivery structures for clients.
• Lead HR due diligence and partner with cross-functional deal teams during transaction processes.
• Drive organizational design, process redesign, policy alignment, and culture change initiatives.
• Advise C-suite and senior HR leaders on people strategy and modernization.
• Lead sales and proposal opportunities, contributing to new market offerings and thought leadership.
• Mentor and develop consulting teams to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development.
• 10+ years of experience in HR transformation and consulting, managing large projects and teams.
• Deep knowledge of HR operating models (people, process, technology, and service delivery).
• HR or change-related certification (e.g., SHRM SCP, SPHR, Prosci).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Must be based in or able to work from Charlotte, NC or Washington, DC.
