Fund Finance & Control Senior Analyst (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Provide independent financial control and review information prepared by third-party administrators.
• Review period-end outputs, balance sheet reconciliations, supporting evidence, and financial statements.
• Apply technical accounting judgement to valuations, accruals, impairments, and structural events.
• Challenge accounting treatments, inconsistencies, and control weaknesses, documenting clear conclusions.
• Prepare initial going concern assessments and support external audit requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and improve control frameworks, review checklists, accounting processes, and evidence standards.

Requirements

• Newly qualified accountant with a strong foundation in technical accounting and financial control.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles, balance sheets, and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting external audits as a preparer or reviewer.
• Experience in Real Estate or Real Assets, including exposure to property structures or funds.
• Audit background, ideally from a Big Four or equivalent environment, or comparable audit training followed by industry experience.
• Experience reviewing, overseeing, or constructively challenging outsourced accounting providers, with clear communication and strong attention to detail.
