Commercial Finance Manager (FP&A/Power BI): Delivering financial planning, reporting, and commercial analysis across revenue, margin, costs, pricing, and profitability with an accent on advanced Excel modelling, data visualization, and strategic decision support. Focus on translating complex financial data into actionable insight, leading budgeting and forecasting, and influencing senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Location: Hybrid in Knutsford, England, United Kingdom, with at least two days per week in the Knutsford office

What you will do
- Deliver reporting and analysis across revenue, margin, and cost performance using Power BI and advanced Excel modelling.
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights that support decisions and accountability.
- Support client profitability analysis, pricing, bids, and post-project reviews.
- Lead or contribute to budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, scenario modelling, system improvements, and investment decisions.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, the Head of FP&A, and the leadership team to drive business performance.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in commercial finance or FP&A, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and work with large, complex datasets.
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and ability to influence senior decision-making.
- Experience in professional services, private equity-backed, or high-growth environments is advantageous.
