Commercial Assurance Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month

What you will do

• Own end-to-end assurance of commercial charging outcomes across billing and revenue systems.
• Lead revenue assurance across the usage-to-bill lifecycle, identifying data-flow, rating-logic, and billing-output gaps.
• Oversee margin assurance and cost verification across wholesale and third-party suppliers.
• Validate pricing structures, offers, discounts, promotions, product setup, and commercial configuration.
• Identify, quantify, and remediate revenue leakage, margin erosion, and other commercial risks.
• Provide senior-level financial and risk insight while partnering with Product, Commercial, and Pricing teams.

Requirements

• Experience in revenue assurance, commercial assurance, or related financial control environments.
• Strong commercial understanding of pricing models, margin drivers, and financial risk.
• Experience leading complex assurance portfolios and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills, including assessing large data sets and translating findings into action.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge risks, quantify financial impact, and prioritise issues by business value.
• Ability to work in the United Kingdom under the hybrid attendance model.
