What you will do

• Oversee the OPMO and ensure projects align with strategic goals through high-quality execution.
• Lead and mentor a centralized team of project managers, including onshore, offshore, and vendor resources.
• Translate priorities into executable delivery plans with clear sequencing and accountability.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to prioritize initiatives and align requirements.
• Manage KPIs and performance metrics to monitor delivery success and ROI.
• Develop project delivery career paths and training programs to close functional competency gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management or leading managers within a financial services organization.
• Experience leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Jira.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience specifically within wealth management and/or insurance industries.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
