What you will do

• Manage major subsystems and projects, developing detailed project plans for product improvements.
• Coordinate between Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure timely parts release and delivery.
• Implement and support engineering processes including Design Reviews, DFMEA, CAE, and DVPRs.
• Lead weekly Product Development Team (PDT) meetings and manage supplier communications.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve engineering concerns with permanent corrective actions.
• Manage the change control process and support budget forecasting and resource planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical or management role within the automotive or defense sectors.
• Direct experience in electrical system design and/or power electronics development.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and project management tools like Smartsheet or MS Project.
• Must be based in Garden Grove, CA.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira or CAD software.
• Domain knowledge in vehicle software, controls, cybersecurity, or functional safety.
• Defense industry experience, specifically with UGV products.
