What you will do

• Lead the full product development lifecycle for water-cooled chillers, including design, testing, certification, and mass production.
• Manage multidisciplinary R&D teams covering mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
• Define project timelines, resource plans, and key milestones to ensure quality and cost targets are met.
• Organize technical reviews for critical components like compressors, heat exchangers, and control logic.
• Implement R&D management methodologies such as DFMEA, design reviews, and reliability validation.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and support market launches.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of R&D experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment.
• At least 5 years of R&D team management or new product development project management experience.
• Strong understanding of water-cooled chiller system architecture and thermodynamic design.
• Proven experience in managing complete new product development projects from concept to mass production.
• Strong engineering judgment and familiarity with quality management methods like DFMEA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the location; no sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center cooling applications and precision cooling systems.
• Knowledge of BMS communication and energy-saving control strategies.
• Familiarity with international standards such as UL or IEC.
