Specialist, Business Systems (SAP)

Location: On-site at the office in Tijuana, Mexico; support global teams across time zones as needed.

What you will do

• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes across enterprise ERP applications.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate business needs into standardized, configuration-driven solutions for SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Define business scenarios and test cases, and support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Analyze defects, support deployment readiness and post-go-live stabilization, and contribute to documentation, training, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional and technical teams, integration partners, vendors, and project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise ERP applications.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, including business process analysis, application troubleshooting, and ERP enhancements.
• Strong understanding of at least one ERP process area, such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Plant-to-Produce, or Global Trade Management.
• Experience with requirements analysis, functional specifications, process documentation, testing, acceptance criteria, and defect triage.
• Ability to work on-site in the Tijuana office and comply with local employment and background-check policies.

Nice to have

• Experience with compliance-oriented, trade-related, or regulated business processes.
• Experience with multi-country ERP landscapes, legal entities, plants, sales organizations, company codes, and regional compliance requirements.
• Exposure to SAP-integrated platforms such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Seeburger, OpenText, Salesforce, iValua, or IBP.
• Experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAP reports, Jira, or SharePoint.
• Interest in responsibly applying AI to business analysis, documentation, process optimization, testing, and application support.
