Business Analyst Middle (Fintech)

Location: Mexico; hybrid work. Relocation support to Mexico is available for employees and their families.

What you will do

• Gather requirements from Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Control, and Operations teams and translate them into structured specifications.
• Map as-is and to-be processes, identify manual steps and bottlenecks, and define automation opportunities.
• Decompose regulatory and legislative requirements into actionable product and process changes.
• Research third-party vendors, data providers, and platforms and prepare recommendations with stakeholders.
• Produce BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, stakeholder maps, and dependency documentation.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Data through discovery, planning, implementation, UAT, and releases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of APIs, integration flows, high-level architecture, and collaboration with engineers.
• Experience with BPMN, UML, or similar process-modeling methods.
• Experience with low-code tools such as n8n, Jira automation, or advanced hands-on use of Claude Code.
• B2 or higher English level, strong stakeholder management, and basic SQL or spreadsheet skills.

Nice to have

• Background in legal, compliance, or related domains.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and their implementation in systems and processes.
• Experience using spreadsheets for data exploration.
