Business Analyst (Trade Compliance Knowledge)

What you will do

• Monitor domestic and international shipments for compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain export records for ITAR hardware, technical data, and defense services, including jurisdiction determinations and correspondence.
• Perform license determinations, apply exceptions and exemptions, and support license filings.
• Conduct customer screening, Denied Party Check reviews, end-use verification, and high-risk shipment compliance reporting.
• Manage ECCN classification, certification, maintenance, and related records in SAP.
• Support the Export Compliance Officer and business teams through analysis, training, order-block reviews, reporting, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of trade compliance principles, practices, and industry standards.
• Experience analyzing complex situations and data, developing solutions, and improving policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and coordinate activities across departments.
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, ECCN classification, export licensing, denied-party screening, and SAP compliance records.
