Principal, Strategic Operations

Location: Fully remote; work from wherever you are. Synchronous collaboration is mostly from 9 AM–2 PM PT, with asynchronous work across time zones.

Salary: $170K–$205K, plus equity and bonus.

What you will do

• Design and continuously improve the leadership operating system, including planning cadences, decision-making frameworks, and operating rhythms.
• Own the operating mechanics for quarterly and annual planning, aligning priorities, dependencies, and execution.
• Drive high-priority cross-functional initiatives by improving coordination, accountability, and follow-through.
• Build and evolve operating mechanisms, documentation, and planning artifacts for scalable execution.
• Partner with founders and functional leaders to identify organizational friction and strengthen decision-making.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Chief of Staff, Management Consulting, or a similar operational leadership role.
• Experience designing or scaling operating systems, planning processes, or company-wide execution mechanisms in a high-growth environment.
• Experience partnering directly with founders and senior leaders on company-wide initiatives.
• Exceptional written communication and the ability to synthesize complexity into clear decisions, frameworks, and operating mechanisms.
• Strong systems thinking, judgment, executive presence, and ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
• Regular use of AI at work, with a clear perspective on its effective application and limitations.

Nice to have

• Experience leading OKRs, annual planning, or quarterly planning.
• Management consulting experience followed by an operating role.
• Experience supporting founder-led organizations through rapid scaling.
• Familiarity with Notion, Linear, Omni, Looker, Slack, ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
