VP, Strategy Consulting (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Boston or remote in the United States; up to 20% travel. No visa or work authorization support is available.

Annual base salary: $180,000–$200,000, plus bonus, benefits, and an employee stock ownership plan.

What you will do

• Define the vision, operating model, consulting frameworks, quality standards, and talent strategy for the Strategy Consulting function.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary consulting team and introduce decision-enablement capabilities across the firm.
• Advise executive clients on growth, customer, marketing, innovation, competitive, and organizational decisions.
• Translate research, analytics, AI capabilities, and complex evidence into executive-ready recommendations and implementation guidance.
• Expand relationships with senior executives, develop scalable advisory offerings, and represent the firm in strategic discussions and conferences.
• Recruit, coach, and mentor diverse consulting talent and external experts while growing the practice pipeline and revenue.

Requirements

• 15+ years of strategy and growth consulting or executive advisory experience for enterprise or Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience building or scaling consulting practices, solution portfolios, capabilities, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience integrating consumer and market insights, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, activation, implementation, and strategy.
• Strong executive facilitation, communication, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, plus experience coaching and developing colleagues.
• Graduate degree in business, strategy, economics, organizational leadership, design, public policy, or a related field is preferred.
