What you will do

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for the Data Platform, focusing on ingestion, transformation, warehousing, and serving systems.
• Architect data infrastructure to natively support AI and ML workloads, including feature stores and real-time inference.
• Drive the evolution toward near-real-time data availability to improve fraud detection, financial reporting, and analytics.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to align technical priorities and tradeoffs.
• Serve as the primary technical voice in org-wide forums and mentor senior engineering talent.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed data infrastructure.
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end technical strategy for a data domain across multiple teams.
• Deep systems thinking regarding performance, reliability, cost, security, and privacy across the data lifecycle.
• Experience designing systems for ML training pipelines or AI agents using technologies like CDC, Kafka, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Platform mindset with a focus on reducing friction for developer customers.
