What you will do

• Own end-to-end data architecture, defining how critical business data is captured, modeled, and served in production.
• Develop and operate high-volume streaming and batch data workflows with strict guarantees for latency and accuracy.
• Design domain-oriented canonical data models to serve as the source of truth for analytics and ML.
• Build comprehensive tests, lineage, and monitoring systems to ensure data observability and quality at scale.
• Automate operational workflows to eliminate manual handoffs and reconcile data across internal and external systems.
• Enable product and ML teams by exposing high-quality data via semantic layers and real-time query systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a data or software engineer building distributed data systems or event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in designing data models using dimensional, Data Vault, or ledger-style techniques.
• Deep expertise with Kafka, Debezium, dbt, Spark, Flink, Dagster, and Airflow.
• Experience operating cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Ability to write production-grade code in Python and SQL.
• Must be based in the US within commuting distance of New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
